Southern Bell Frog (Litoria raniformis) re-discovered in the lower Lachlan

A PhD student (Carmen Amos) who is studying frogs in Lower Lachlan area discovered the endangered Southern Bell Frog (Litoria raniformis) found in Lake Bullogal adjacent to the Pipeline NSW Project on Lower Lachlan Scheme at Noonamah. The frog was thought to be extinct in the Lachlan area until this recent siting. The frog is a large one approximately 100mm in size and commonly eats other frogs.
