Situation Reports or SitReps are provided by the Senior Environmental Water Management Officer at the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) once an environmental flow has commenced.
SitReps are essentially informal event updates which track and report on the status and use of environmental water (usually on a fortnightly basis or after in-field monitoring and observation) and are made available to the Lachlan Riverine Working Group.
SitReps may also monitor ecological responses to the application of environmental water in cooperation with landholders and State Water Corporation (SWC) as well as operational information (volume deliver so far, discharge rate, etc).
